Evidence based comparison of treatments in IBD: From methodology to clinical practice

COVID-19

The BIRD Organizing Committee and BIRD Board are thrilled to welcome you to this in-person Symposium.

Just like last year, the focus will be on providing you with high quality scientific content, delivered through an inspiring and engaging program of speakers.

From 7th March 2022, the coronavirus barometer switched to Code Yellow. This is great news for welcoming you back to BIRD events.

Please be aware that:

  • Face masks are not mandatory, however these are recommended for the clinically vulnerable, and also recommended in crowded areas and in places where the 1.5 meter distance cannot be guaranteed
  • The Covid Safe Ticket (CST) is no longer necessary
  • A CO2 meter will be in place to measure the air quality

More information on the current Covid measures in Flanders can be found here

Registration for the BIRD Symposium is open to general gastroenterologists, trainees in gastroenterology and internal medicine, IBD scientists, IBD ideologists, nurses interested in IBD and study coordinators.

Register before Saturday, the 30th of April to benefit from the early registration fee.
