Application Process:
The application process is divided as followed:
1. Applicants must be BIRD member and a gastroenterologist with interest in IBD. Applications are to be submitted via the following link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BIRD_IUS by May 31st, 2024. Applicants must upload a one-page CV, a motivation letter and must have access to an ultrasound machine in their department.
2. The BIRD IUS course organizing committee will review all applications and select 12 participants to be notified by mid-June 2024.
The course fee is free, but a no-show policy is in place: if you are no longer able to attend the course, we respectfully ask you to let us know by July 30th, 2024. If no notice is received, an invoice of €500 will be sent to you.
Applications with equal qualifications will be evaluated on a first come first served basis. Only fully completed applications will be taken into consideration. In case of any questions please contact the BIRD Office at info@birdgroup.be.
